This document explains government policy and actions to encourage consumer dispute resolution without going to court, including details of the Alternative Dispute Regulations (ADR) 2015. The regulations affect almost all businesses selling directly to consumers and set the standards for ADR providers wishing to become a ‘certified ADR provider’.
