This inspection examined the efficiency and effectiveness of the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme, specifically the progress made by the Home Office towards delivering the government’s target of resettling 20,000 refugees in the UK by 2020, the processes for selecting refugees for resettlement via the Scheme and efforts to integrate refugees prior to their departure for the UK and once they have been resettled.
