Details of the application
Anglian Water Services Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 5/31/12/*G/0005 which authorises the abstraction of water from groundwater at National Grid Reference TG 08 05 in Lincolnshire.
The variation applied for is to increase the maximum annual abstraction from 7,337,000 cubic metres per year to 8,067,000 cubic metres per year and to add a purpose (transfer for river support) to the licence.
