Details of the application
Anglian Water Services Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 4/30/11/*G/0037 which authorises the abstraction of water from underground strata (limestone) at National Grid References TF 05 46 and TF 05 46.
The variation applied for is: amend the licence to cap the current yearly quantity to 1,054,000 cubic metres and extend aggregate beyond 31 March 2025.
