Use a general import licence to import animal pathogens or carriers to GB from the EU.
You should give your exporter a copy of the declaration template for them to complete.
The general licence and completed declaration form must travel with your import.
You need to apply for a licence if you’re importing animal pathogens or carriers to GB from a non-EU country.
You need to follow different guidance if you’re importing specified animal pathogens to GB.
