Details

This challenge is organised by the UK Space Agency’s Space for Smarter Government Programme (SSGP) and is being run in collaboration with the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). The aim of the challenge is to develop satellite capabilities that could be applied to asset management challenges across the NDA Group using the data procured by SSGP under its Data Procurement Initiative.

Applicants have until midday 3rd of January 2020 to submit their proposals. At the end of the challenge period all applications will be reviewed and sifted with successful applicants being notified by 7th of January 2020. Up to four candidates will be invited to pitch their ideas directly to our panel of EO experts and nuclear industry stakeholders at the Space to Connect 2020 networking event (held at the QEII conference centre in central London) on the 14th of January 2020. The overall winner will receive a Business Sprint voucher, worth £10K, which is redeemable with the Satellite Applications Catapult, with a view to helping the winner progress their concept/idea.
