Details
We are currently reviewing our internal processes for the student support call, and anticipate no funding availability until January 2024 at the earliest. We continue to welcome applications aligned with this revised timeline.
This call will remain open indefinitely, but any awards are subject to funds being available within the Human Exploration budget in any given financial year.
Any UK based team that is successfully selected by ESA for the following programmes may apply for this funding:
- Drop Your Thesis!
- Fly Your Thesis!
- Orbit Your Thesis!
- Spin Your Thesis!
- Spin Your Thesis! Human Edition
- REXUS/BEXUS (Swedish National Space Agency and DLR, programme)
- IGLUNA (Swiss Space Centre programme)
Grants will be awarded to teams for contributions to experiment build costs only, and the maximum amount awarded will be £5,000. Each project team selected by ESA may apply for funding once only.
As well as offering funding, the UK Space Agency will provide support to the team through mentorship and guidance where appropriate.
