Details

The annual report highlights the work that the Commission has done over the past twelve months, such as:

  • Agreeing new governance and funding arrangements with the Lord Chancellor and Ministry of Justice
  • Launching the consultation for our 14th Programme of Law Reform
  • Launching our first Diversity and Inclusion strategy
  • Publishing eight reports since the last annual report covering leasehold reform, consumer sales contracts and modernisation of the communications offences among other projects.
  • Publishing a wide range of consultations including on coal tips in Wales, electronic trade documents, intimate image abuse, hate crime laws and weddings during the year.
  • Producing a first economic analysis of the value of law reform based on the Commission’s recommendations
