  1. The guidance has been updated to reflect changes to the Immigration Rules made in Statement of Changes HC 217, laid on 10 September 2024, to replace the continuous residence rules in Appendix ECAA Settlement with reference to relevant provisions of Appendix Continuous Residence. Minor drafting changes have also been included.

  2. Updated to reflect the removal of the police registration requirement from those applying for further leave as a partner of an ECAA worker or business person for decisions made from 6 November 2022.

  3. Guidance updated to reflect end of transition and rules changes.
