State Pension: valuation on divorce or dissolution
Both parties of a divorce or dissolution should complete one of these forms to enable the court to decide on any State Pension to be shared.

Details
If you get divorced or dissolve your civil partnership, the court can consider if your State Pension, or part of it, is a financial asset, which can be shared in a financial settlement through the making of a pension sharing order.
This means that part of the amount you get or could get could be shared with a former husband, wife or civil partner.
Both people involved in the divorce or dissolution need to complete a separate version of the form to get a valuation which will help the court make a decision.
If you need this form in a different format
Contact the Future Pension Centre to ask for:
- a printed copy of the form
- a different format, such as large print, braille or audio CD
