Details

To manufacture or supply official ear tags for cattle, sheep or goats, you need to register with the British Cattle Movement Service (BCMS), and get an ear tag manufacturer or supplier number.

How to register

1. Open the form in a PDF reader, such as Acrobat Reader.
2. Download and save the form to your computer.
3. Fill in the form and save it again.
4. Read the cattle ear tag manufacturers or suppliers code of practice or sheep and goat ear tag manufacturers or suppliers code of practice.
5. Print and sign ‘Annex A: manufacturers and suppliers: undertaking’.
6. Send your completed application form and Annex A by post to:
