The letter sets out the government’s longer-term approach to the review of the Public Service Vehicles Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR) 2000, as well as the approach to short-term exemptions.

The letter encourages operators to work with the Department for Transport on this matter going forward.

It has been sent to trade body chief executives with the expectation they will share it with their members.
