Details

An assessment of the effect that the new apprenticeship funding system will have on groups with certain ‘protected characteristics’.

The protected characteristics include:

  • disability
  • pregnancy and maternity
  • race
  • religion or belief
  • sex and sexual orientation
  • age
  • marriage and civil partnership
  • gender reassignment

This assessment applies to the apprenticeships funding policy introduced in May 2017 and minor changes made to it in 2018. Read the apprenticeships funding policy paper if you would like more information.
