This report presents the findings of a survey of over 12,000 apprentices in England, Wales and Northern Ireland who were asked about their:

  • pay
  • working hours
  • amount of training they received as part of their apprenticeship

The results are given for the various apprenticeship frameworks:

  • subjects and industrial sectors
  • level and the age
  • gender and ethnicity of apprentices

Comparisons are also shown between these results and those collected in a similar survey in 2011.
