The Animal Welfare Ethical Review Body (AWERB) subgroup of the Animals in Science Committee (ASC) held its 11th workshop for the AWERB Hub on 16 October 2024.

The aim of the event was to enable attendees to share and discuss:

• an update on the work of the ASC
• skills and training needed by an AWERB
• the benefits of an active AWERB hub

This report sets out the key points and findings from the workshop.
