Project Concept Form

Details

The ASEAN Programme Fund welcome bids for projects working with the ASEAN Secretariat or in ASEAN member states for financial year 2015-2016.

The programme fund supports strengthening the rules-based international system in support of our values including human rights and our implementation of FCO Priority:

Safeguard Britain’s national security by countering terrorism and weapons proliferation, and working to reduce conflict.

Bids under the following areas are invited:

  • Regional integration

  • Conflict and security

  • Human Rights

  • Democracy and Governance

  • Counter-Terrorism

  • Key Foreign Policy

Bids should focus either on capacity-building for the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN Chairmanship or benefit at least two ASEAN countries. We welcome applications for funding for projects on these topics from government, NGOs, civil society, universities and think tanks.

Priority will be given to proposals with a high impact and concrete outcomes at regional level. We do not support research-only projects. We accept applications for co-funding for larger projects.

How to bid

Please read the guidelines carefully before you complete the attached concept note. Please be informed that the project should start after mid June 2015 and must end by 28 February 2016 or sooner. Multi-year proposals are not permitted. Budgets will be assessed for value for money.

Deadlines

Please submit your completed concept note to bilateral.jakarta@fco.gov.uk before 17 April 2015.
