Details

The Joint Committee of Assay Offices passes a number of consents, allowing progress to be made in the creation of hallmarked articles.

The consents include:

  • consent to the making of an addition comprised of base metal to a hallmarked article
  • consent to the making of an addition comprised of non-metallic material to a hallmarked article
  • consent to the coating of a silver article bearing an approved hallmark
