Details

This guidance explains the options for:

• staff in school based nurseries and maintained nursery schools
• staff in private, voluntary and independent nurseries (PVIs)
• childminders

The asymptomatic testing programme does not replace the current testing policy for those with symptoms. Anyone with symptoms should self-isolate immediately and follow government guidance on symptomatic testing.

   Rapid asymptomatic testing in early years settings guidance updated to reflect that asymptomatic testing is now available to everyone in England. We have also clarified where staff, parents or carers may be eligible for Test and Trace support payments.
