Details

If, as the applicant, you are a landowner or leaseholder, you can authorise an agent to:  

  • register a biodiversity gain site  

  • record allocation of off-site biodiversity gains to a development  

If, as the applicant, you are a developer, ecologist or another person, you can authorise an agent to record allocation of off-site biodiversity gains to a development.  

It must be the applicant who completes this form.  

How to apply  

We advise using Google Chrome to download and complete this form. 

     
  1. Open and download the ‘Authorise an agent to act on your behalf’ form. Answer the questions on the form and save it.
  2. Send it to the agent who will be acting on your behalf. They must send this with their application form when:
          
    • registering a gain site
      •     
    • recording allocation of off-site biodiversity gains to a development
      •     
    • registering a gain site and recording allocation of off-site biodiversity gains to a development at the same time

We will not accept any handwritten forms sent in by post.
