Methods and definitions
The clinical and exposure criteria for determining a potential case of A(H5N1) human avian influenza is outlined in this guidance.
The case was tested by the UKHSA Rapid Investigation Team and the positive result confirmed by the UKHSA Respiratory Virus Unit.
