Details

The strategy:

  • supplies the roles and responsibilities of government, regulatory bodies and industry
  • gives the direction for aviation industry up to 2022
  • includes the framework used by the Department for Transport for:

    • understanding cyber threats
    • managing cyber risks
    • responding to and recovering from cyber events
    • promoting cultural change to build cyber capability
  • gives incident reporting guidance and resources to assist the aviation industry in managing and preparing for cyber events

The strategy aligns with the National cyber security strategy.

The strategy will be reviewed regularly.
