Details

The Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero awarded the carbon dioxide transport and storage licence to Net Zero North Sea Storage Limited on 10 December 2024, pursuant to section 7(1) (as modified by section 16 and schedule 1) of the Energy Act 2023.

The Secretary of State gave notice of intent to award the licence on 6 September 2024 and no objections or representations were received during the period of the notice.
