Updated eligibility criteria as teachers with a teaching qualification from Zimbabwe are no longer eligible to apply for QTS. This is because DfE has been unable to verify professional standing documentation from Zimbabwe.

Qualified teachers from Guernsey and Jersey can now use the ‘apply for qualified teacher status in England’ service to check they meet the requirements and apply. Guernsey and Jersey are also mentioned in the ‘English language proficiency’ section.
