An application has been made to the Environment Agency by Barry and Robert Poucher trading as B Poucher and Son. The Environment Agency are required to give notice of this application.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the River Bain at Horncastle, Lincolnshire, between National Grid Reference (NGR) TF 2516 6702 and TF 2459 6653.
The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates and periods:
- 36 cubic metres an hour
- 850 cubic metres a day
- 22,730 cubic metres a year
Between 1 April and 31 October inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for spray irrigation.
