This document provides a standard method for batch acceptance testing of fingerprint powders, to assist with the requirement for police forces to gain ISO 17020 accreditation for crime scene processing and be compliant with the Forensic Science Regulator codes.

This guidance was developed by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) in partnership with the University of Portsmouth and the Forensic Capability Network.
