Details

The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) was created in 2016 by merging the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC). This has involved combining teams and functions at the same time as both providing an ambitious Industrial Strategy and preparing to leave the EU. This requires our new department to develop new ways of thinking and working.

The BEIS Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Strategy sets out the plan that will ensure we make best use of DDaT in our everyday work that will work for both our staff and the people and businesses we serve.
