You should use this licence to move poultry meat from poultry originating in a protection zone or originating from an area that subsequently becomes a protection zone.

This licence only allows you to move poultry meat during outbreaks of avian influenza strains starting ‘H5N’ - for example, H5N1 and H5N5. You cannot use this licence to move poultry meat during an outbreak of any other strains of HPAI, such as H7N9.

You do not need to apply for this general licence but you must meet its conditions and follow its instructions.
