BIS retail strategy

Details

Identifies priority issues that have a positive impact across the retail sector, where there is a legitimate role for government to act, and where there is a strong likelihood of success.

The strategy was developed working closely with British Retail Consortium, the Association of Convenience Stores and Gloucestershire First (the first local enterprise partnership Retail Pathfinder).

We published a follow-up strategy in partnership with industry on 23 October 2013: Strategy for Future Retail: Industry and Government Delivering in Partnership
