'Eye of the needle' is a report on healthcare workers' occupational exposures to bloodborne viruses such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV.

The ‘Bloodborne viruses: Eye of the Needle’ report helps UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the Department of Health to develop national policy and guidelines on occupational exposure to bloodborne viruses.
The ‘Bloodborne viruses: Eye of the needle 2020 report’ has been temporarily removed whilst the Significant Occupational Exposures surveillance system, from which data from the report is taken, is under review.
