The United Kingdom Internal Market Act 2020 (‘the Act’) provides that the CMA Board may authorise an OIM task group (‘Task Group’) to carry out anything that has been required or authorised to be done by the CMA under Part 4 of the Act relating to independent advice on, and monitoring of, the UK internal market. Task Groups may be constituted by the OIM Panel Chair in accordance with Part 3A of Schedule 4 to Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013.
This Guidance provides Task Groups with guidance on determining their procedures and applies to the OIM Panel Chair and any member of the OIM Panel.
