Clarification of the term ‘bonded gold’ following a Trading Standards query. The British Hallmarking Council, including members of the 4 assay offices, met on Monday 2 April 2012. Their conclusions on the description and marking of bonded gold in relation to the Hallmarking Act 1973 are in this document.
