The benefits of this data share are to identify and analyse fraud within the BBL Scheme. A variation to this pilot now allows BEIS and lenders associated with the BBL Scheme to investigate fraud.

Note: BEIS existed until 2023 when it was split to form the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
