Details

Seventeen complaints alleging that the union breached its rules in taking disciplinary action against the claimant and debarring her from office within the union. It was found that the union had acted in breach of its rules in respect of seven of these complaints. Of the other ten complaints, three were withdrawn shortly before the hearing; five were dismissed and two were found not to be within the Certification Officer’s jurisdiction. No enforcement order was made.
