Breedon Trading Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a licence to abstract (take) water for the purpose of dewatering from River Terrace Deposits of sand and gravel at Flixton Quarry, Flixton, Bungay, Suffolk within the area formed by straight lines running between the National Grid References (NGRs) TM 31175 87904, TM 32058 87904, TM 32058 87454 and TM 31178 87454 and to transfer it to two watercourses at NGRs TM 31755 87874 and TM 31317 87734.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
