Details

This list has been published to support financial institutions when carrying out credit checks for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) staff who have been working abroad.

Previously all posts only had a single postcode which credit rating agencies and others do not accept as a residential address. This meant that FCDO staff returning to the UK had difficulties when trying to access credit. The Ministry of Defence and the FCDO have changed the BFPO system to provide a separate postcode for each location
