Details

Ethiopia’s economic growth and its expansion in the delivery of basic services in recent years have been among the most impressive in Africa. However, it continues to face enormous challenges: rapid population growth; regional instability; pervasive poverty and increasingly frequent climatic and economic shocks. The number of food-insecure people is increasing. This paper outlines recommendations for building resilience in light of these factors.
