Details

This study researches the impact of factors that influence bus journey times and measures that impact on particular bus routes.

This project consisted of 2 stages:

  • the first stage reviewed potential factors influencing bus journey times, and proposed a methodology for collecting data to estimate the impact of these factors
  • the second stage was a pilot study to demonstrate the methodology in the ‘real-world’, which involved collecting and analysing data from a bus service between Bristol and Bath

These 2 reports summarise the work undertaken throughout each of these phases.
