The funding for 2025 to 2026 comprises:
- £670 million to enable Local Transport Authorities (LTAs) to deliver their Bus Service Improvement Plans (BSIPs)
- £35 million to LTAs and £7 million to LAs in Local Authority Bus Service Operators Grant (LA BSOG), totalling £42 million, to support services and keep fares down
- £13 million to Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) in devolved BSOG to protect existing services and support service delivery
- £6.5 million to GMCA in devolved Bus Services Operators Grant Plus (BSOG Plus) to protect existing services and support service delivery
- £11 million to West Midlands Combined Authority in devolved BSOG Plus to protect existing services and support service delivery
