Details

This letter provides confirmation on the 2011 to 2012 business rate multipliers, and informs local authorities of the extension of the moratorium on payments of certain backdated business rates liabilities. It also reminds local authorities of their discretionary powers under the rural rate relief legislation which allows them to provide rate relief to rural public houses.
