British Wheel of Yoga Qualifications (BWYQ) Likely failure to comply with conditions A1, A4, A5, A6, A8, B1, B3, G1, G8, H5, H6 and I4 Direction given Closed

On 7 August 2018, Ofqual gave a direction to BWYQ after we identified concerns about BWYQ’s compliance with the General Conditions of Recognition. The direction prevents BWYQ from registering any new learners on its regulated qualifications until it has demonstrated that it has the capacity to ensure compliance with the conditions.

BWYQ has been required to produce an action plan to Ofqual in order to address the concerns raised. In order to protect existing learners, Ofqual will monitor BWYQ, review BWYQ’s action plan and regularly review the requirements of the direction. Ofqual has not required BWYQ to stop certificating or awarding qualifications to existing learners.
