Applies to England, Scotland and Wales
1. Method Agreed: what this means
Statutory recognition is for collective bargaining on pay, hours and holidays (and any other matters agreed by the parties). Once a union is recognised, a method for conducting collective bargaining on pay, hours and holidays will need to be agreed. In this instance the two parties have reached an agreement on a method of bargaining.
