Details
This invitation is for projects which will be managed by the FCO’s Multilateral Policy Directorate (MPD) in London. It supplements further invitations to bid for the Magna Carta Fund for Human Rights and Democracy (MCF) and the Rules Based International Systems Fund (RBIS) which British embassies and high commissions can issue.
About the funds
The MCF and RBIS support the promotion of human rights and democracy. They complement our diplomatic work to further British interests overseas by tackling the root causes of human rights violations, strengthening institutions and governance, supporting the promotion and protection of human rights, and promoting democracy and the rule of law.
Bidding process
To bid for funds, potential implementers will need to view the ‘Call for bids and summary of thematic areas of interest’ and the instruction pack for bidding.
Note that you can submit a project bid even if you did not submit an ‘intention to bid’ by the earlier deadline (21 May).
The deadline for submitting project bids is 3pm on 4 June 2018.
Projects can be for 1 year (2018 to 2019) or for 2 years (2018 to 2019 and 2019 to 2020).
