Details
Following a comprehensive review that applied the terms of reference, Government will provide over £400 million of funding to the Canal & River Trust in a 10-year settlement from 2027.
The review followed government best practice, as set out in HM Treasury’s 5 case model and the Green Book. It drew on cross-government and external expertise to make a comprehensive and independent assessment.
