This toolkit provides practical guidance and public health risk assessment tools for health and social care staff working in community and non-acute healthcare settings, both with and without specialist knowledge of infection prevention and control.
The annex documents provide:
- an inter-care transfer form, for use when transferring individuals with carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE) to another setting
- advice and information leaflets for affected individuals and their family to print and share
- a primary care quick reference guide
