Details

On behalf of the review bodies it supports, the Office of Manpower Economics commissioned the Institute for Employment Studies to explore pay progression mechanisms (the process by which an individual moves up their pay range). The purpose of this study was to enhance understanding of how they work, and how they have been modernised.

There are 10 case studies, which identify the various forms of pay progression and analyse their advantages and disadvantages.
