Details

This report from the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) looks at the issues facing young people across the UK in getting the experience they need to get into work.

It also highlights the ‘postcode lottery’ they can face when trying to find work experience, with employers in some parts of the country almost twice as likely to offer it as their counterparts in other areas.

Maps showing the geographical variation can be found alongside local data for England from the Employer Perspectives Survey (EPS).
