CEMEX UK Materials Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for 2 licences.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a licence to abstract (take) water from sedimentary sand and gravel at Lawford Heath, Rugby, Warwickshire, from an area formed by straight lines between National Grid References: SP 44326 73275; SP 45778 72355; SP 45248 71971 and SP 43764 72609 to transfer it to an unnamed stream at National Grid References SP 45436 72528 and SP 44101 72692 and a lagoon formed by straight lines between National Grid References: SP 44795 72498; SP 44964 72369; SP 44859 72195 and SP 44643 72302 (Area A) without intervening use.
The application is to abstract water as follows:

Abstraction is to take place all year.
CEMEX UK Materials Limited has also applied for a licence to abstract (take) water from a lagoon at Area A.
