Details of the application
C.G.J. Mathias and Son (Nurseries) has applied to the Environment Agency to vary a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number TH/039/0030/057 which authorises the abstraction of water from The River Wey from a reach between National Grid References SU 86907 43342 and SU 86780 42866 at Tilford, Surrey.
The variation applied for is to increase the abstraction period from 01 April to 30 September inclusive to “All Year”. There will be no increase made to the abstraction quantities that are currently licenced.
