Chancellor and Minister for Local Government and Building Safety commission new study on infrastructure planning
The Chancellor commissions the National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) to provide recommendations on the infrastructure planning system, in particular the role of National Policy Statements (NPSs).

Details
This document sets out the agreed Terms of Reference for the NIC study on infrastructure planning. The study will build on work already undertaken across government, including as part of the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) Action Plan to be published by DLUHC shortly. The NIC will provide a final report by Spring 2023.
