Changes to PAS 2030:2017
Installers can continue to use the PAS 2030:2017 standard for the Green Homes Grant scheme and the first phase of the Local Authority Delivery scheme until 31 October 2021.

PAS 2030 is a Publicly Available Specification for the installation of energy efficiency measures in existing buildings.
The 2017 version of PAS 2030 (PAS 2030:2017) was due to be withdrawn on 30 June 2021. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has reached an agreement with the British Standards Institute (BSI) to allow the PAS 2030:2017 standard to continue to be used for both of the following schemes until 31 October 2021:
- Local Authority Delivery scheme (Phase 1)
- Green Homes Grant
All other and future schemes will not accept PAS 2030:2017 from 1 July 2021. This includes:
- Local Authority Delivery scheme (Phase 2)
- Energy Company Obligation
- Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund
- Home Upgrade Grant
